Mushroom Onion Burger

Step up your game with this juicy and flavorful mushroom onion burger from Gravy Masters. For your own unique recipe switch the type mushrooms or soft cheese. .


  • 2 tbsp GravyMaster
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Lg Onion sliced
  • 16 oz Mushrooms sliced(shiitake, crimini or baby bella)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup GravyMaster
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 12 oz Gouda (or soft cheese)
  • 8 Buns
  • Lettuce, Tomato & Pickles (optional)


  • Warm olive oil and 2 tbsp GravyMaster in a large saute pan on medium low heat.
  • Add the onions into the pan until translucent, then add the mushroom.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until soft.
For the burgers:
  • Preheat your grill.
  • Mix ground beef & GravyMaster together in a large bowl.
  • Shape the beef into hamburger patties.
  • Salt & pepper the the patties.
  • Move the burgers to the grill & cook them to your desired temperature.
  • Heat hamburger buns quickly on the grill or in the oven.
  • Top burgers with sliced Gouda, onions, mushrooms, & any other desired toppings.
