Who doesn't love mac & cheese? Rich, creamy comfort food, but with some heat, is just what one needs on a cool fall or winter evening. You can also add chicken or shrimp for an additional fee.
Ingredients
1 lb Cooked Elbow Macaroni
3 cups Whole Milk
3 cups Shredded Four Cheese Blend of Cheese
1 cup Boursin Cheese
1.5 cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Jersey Shore Mild Sauce
1/2 cup Chopped Green Onion
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
4 tbsp All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
Method
Preheat oven to 350°F
Over medium heat, melt butter in a saucepan
Stir in salt, pepper and flour; cooking 1-2 minutes
Whisk in milk, stirring until thick and bubbling
Reduce heat and add cheeses until melted.
Combine mild sauce, green onion and macaroni to saucepan, mixing well.
Once fully mixed spoon into an ungreased cassarole dish.
Mix together bread crumbs and grated parmesan and top the pasta
Bake 20-25 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serve
