Buffalo Mac & Cheese

Who doesn't love mac & cheese? Rich, creamy comfort food, but with some heat, is just what one needs on a cool fall or winter evening. You can also add chicken or shrimp for an additional fee.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cooked Elbow Macaroni
  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • 3 cups Shredded Four Cheese Blend of Cheese
  • 1 cup Boursin Cheese
  • 1.5 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Jersey Shore Mild Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Green Onion
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 4 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Over medium heat, melt butter in a saucepan
  • Stir in salt, pepper and flour; cooking 1-2 minutes
  • Whisk in milk, stirring until thick and bubbling
  • Reduce heat and add cheeses until melted.
  • Combine mild sauce, green onion and macaroni to saucepan, mixing well.
  • Once fully mixed spoon into an ungreased cassarole dish.
  • Mix together bread crumbs and grated parmesan and top the pasta
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Serve
